San Francisco

The main purpose of our recent trip to the west coast was to visit our son, Tom. We used his North Beach apartment as our center point as we visited a variety of sites in and around the Bay Area. We had a great time as tourists and thoroughly enjoyed our time with Tom and his girlfriend, Allyson.

El Capitan

El Capitan
In my previous post I failed to include a photo of El Capitan - one of the most famous of Yosemite's landmarks! Here it is - think of it this way; it would make a whole lot of countertops.

Jenny & I recently drove from Wisconsin to California and we had the opportunity to visit Yosemite National Park. Yosemite is a landscape of jaw dropping beauty, unimaginable granite and is probably the most inspiring location I have ever visited. I've posted a few photos exposed on the trip...Enjoy.
